Angela Tomono
Your Tech-Savvy Virtual Assistant
About Me
Hi! I'm Angela, but you can call me Anjie. I'm a virtual Assistant from the Philippines and have been working virtually since 2020 (The COVID Era!). My fist ever freelance work is an English Language Tutor, until I became an Executive Virtual Assistant in 2022. I feel confident that I am equipped with skills from my past job experiences in the corporate world. Before I switched to freelancing, I worked for two years in the corporate world. I was an Admin assistant at my first ever job--and frankly speaking, the 3 hour commute back and forth from my house to my work has been exhausting, so I changed companies and I was hired as an Office staff, until the Finance department was short-staffed, and so I was suddenly "promoted" as an Accounts Receivables staff-- with higher job responsibilities... but the same minimum wage salary. After a year of working-- I got tired with all the numbers, and my salary didn't even increase by a single cent, so I risked myself and shifted to this career of being a virtual assistant, and now look at me—it is worth it! wink

Why I switched to a home-based job
When I first graduated from college, I was still naïve when I thought that working at an office from 9 am to 5 am job will help me earn money and save for my future.2 years passed and I discovered that there are occupations that are home-based and also give better compensation than working at the office, and at the same time, give me time and freedom to spend with my loved ones.I'm glad that I found out about being a Virtual Assistant. It helped me earn more income than what I get from my full-time job in a year!
